Sr. Project Engineer - BMS/ELV

Educational Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation engineering from an accredited college or university Experience (Must for the job role): Min. 5 years of hands-on experience of Project Execution and AMC support and programming, engineering and commissioning for Building automation systems like Schneider / Johnson Controls / Siemens / Tridium / Trend Controls / Webs / Distech / EasyIO Min. 3 years of hands-on experience of ELV Systems (Access control / Fire Alarm / CCTV / GSS / WLD etc) Project and maintenance experience Job Location: Chennai Job Type: Full time Responsibilities Checking of all E,LV system (Access Control, Enterprise CCTV, Fire Alarm, VESDA Rodent Repellent, Water Leak Detection, BMS & etc) Solution architecting based on early engagement with clients and internal solutions team and positioning KED approach in aligned manner with clients vision. Customer handling with positive positioning of KED strength and technology delivery approach Review of Solution development, estimation, proposals & tender bid submissions to evaluate project or service scope. Engineering the ELV system arch. including shop floor design of the project for submitting to the client/consultant for approval Development of ELV system strategy & configuration logic by studying the system schematics interpretation and solutions planned. Programming, Installation supervision, testing and commissioning of ELV Systems Ownership of billing as per monthly set targets for managed project or service accounts from techno-commercial perspective Supporting solutions team on development of account growth strategy, detailed feedback on Engineering requirements / leads captured in meetings, Developing PR with PMCs / Clients / Consultants Prepare detailed Engineering documentations as per the specifications. Preparation of as built details and submitting to Clients approval. Site survey, maintenance & troubleshooting in automation systems. Conducting planned preventive maintenance as per AMC SLA Delivering reactive and breakdown calls resolutions as per AMC SLA Quarterly Service contract performance evaluation as per customer or company std process De-briefing to the team about client communication & work closely with the team to implement projects / service procedures. Managing project deliverables by coordination with internal / subcontractor teams Handing project / AMC supplies associated activities. Following company HSE processes and adhering to code of conduct Imparting quarterly soft skills training to teams Skills to be demonstrated (General & Technical) Ability to work alone as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to handle problems through to completion. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written) Excellent problem solver and ability to understand impacts of actions. Emergency Handling The ability to handle emergency in the best possible manner and should be able to find out the ways to avoid operational hindrance during system failure.
