Job Responsibilities :

The role holder is responsible for leading, optimizing, and managing production operations of conventional oil & gas fields and CBM. This role involves leveraging advanced analytical methodologies and simulation tools to enhance production performance, ensure operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. The candidate will work closely with site teams to drive improvements in production, reliability, equipment uptime, and cost efficiency, while maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Production Performance Analysis and Optimization:
• Lead the analysis of oil and gas production performance using advanced modelling and research techniques.
• Utilize simulation software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, and PROSPER etc.to conduct in-depth studies and optimize field production.
• Conduct nodal analysis studies and apply production optimization techniques.
• Contribute to the development of long-term and Annual production plans, aligning with business objectives.
• Field Operations support:
• Advice operations with a focus on flow assurance, optimizing well performance.
• Identify and address deviations in operations and recommend corrective actions.
• Optimise field water production through Artificial lift systems and provide solutions to sustain and enhance gas production.
• Provide technical support in the planning and execution of new and innovative technologies.
• Technical Assurance and Compliance:
• Initiate technical proposals for improving reliability and productivity.
• Review and provide independent assurance on technical proposals from assets.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and Codes, procedures, and company policies.
• Act as the second line of defense, offering technical validation and risk assessments.
• Ensure that all new processes and technologies are aligned with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with asset and business teams.
• Collaborate with site teams for implementation of technical proposals.
• Mentor and lead a team of production engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  
  
  

Education Requirement : BE / B.Tech (Petroleum / Chemical) Experience Requirement : 12-15 Years# experience in Oil & Gas upstream production operations. Skills & Competencies :

Functional Competencies desired:

• Advanced Production Analysis: Ability to conduct complex production analyses, including nodal and pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) analysis.
• Simulation and Modelling: Expertise in using industry-standard simulation tools (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, PROSPER etc.) to model and optimize production systems.
• Flow Assurance: Strong knowledge of flow assurance practices, including the management of hydrate formation, wax deposition, and scale formation.
• Well Performance Management: In-depth understanding of well performance monitoring, including inflow performance relationship (IPR) and tubing performance analysis (TPR).
• In depth knowledge of Artificial lift systems such as, PCP, SRP, gas lift, ESP, foam lift, etc.
• Operational experience and in-depth knowledge of high speed rotary equipment like compressors and Gas powered generators.
• Project and Risk Management: Proficient in managing production-related projects, assessing risks, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Technical Assurance and Compliance: Ability to review and ensure compliance with technical standards, policies, and industry regulations.
• HSE Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and the ability to ensure strict adherence in all production activities.
