Team: Marketing and Communications creates integrated communications and campaigns that aim to make the Morningstar brand tribal. Consisting of marketing managers, event planners, designers, writers, corporate communications professionals, digital strategists, behavioral scientists, and more, this collaborative team serves our marketing needs across our business. We are data-driven experimenters who work to deliver the right messages to the right people at the right time. We also drive demand by developing go-to-market strategies for Morningstar products. The team works globally to maintain a consistent brand experience everywhere Morningstar serves investors.
Role:
We are seeking a Manager of Marketing Automation to lead our APAC Campaign Operations initiatives and team. This role combines hands-on marketing automation expertise with people management responsibilities to drive our campaign production strategy forward.

Role:
We are seeking a Manager of Marketing Automation to lead our APAC Campaign Operations initiatives and team. This role combines hands-on marketing automation expertise with people management responsibilities to drive our campaign production strategy forward.
Core Management Responsibilities
- Leads and develops a team of marketing automation specialists through mentoring, training, and career development
- Establishes team goals and KPIs aligned with broader marketing operations objectives
- Conducts regular 1:1s and performance reviews with direct reports
- Manages resource allocation and workload distribution across the team
- Creates and maintains documentation for team processes and best practices
- Collaborates with other managers and team leads to align on cross-functional initiatives
- Identifies opportunities for team training and skill development
- Develops and oversees the implementation of marketing automation production work across all campaigns and programs, globally, in partnership with EMEA/NA Campaign Operations Manager.
- Performs technical tasks to build, execute, and manage integrated campaigns and workflows utilizing our marketing technology stack including Eloqua, BrightTALK, BigMarker, Cvent and ContentStack
- Establishes and maintains best practices for:
- Campaign development and execution
- Email deliverability
- A/B testing and dynamic content optimization
- Segmentation and targeting
- Creates and oversees nurture campaigns supporting all stages of the sales-marketing funnel
- Analyzes campaign performance and provides strategic recommendations for optimization
- Presents campaign metrics and initiatives to stakeholders and leadership
- 7+ years of marketing automation experience, with 2+ years in a people management role
- Deep expertise in Eloqua or similar enterprise marketing automation platforms (Eloqua certification preferred)
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Experience managing complex, multi-product marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellence in project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, or related field
- Experience with web-page authoring tools and webinar hosting platforms
- Knowledge of marketing technology integration and architecture
- Experience with change management and process improvement
- Additional marketing technology certifications
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to motivate teams
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic planning
- Proven track record of developing talent and building team capabilities
