Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 5 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will work on building robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and GraphQL.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions for complex business problems, all while mentoring junior developers and ensuring best practices for software design and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development : Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and GraphQL.
• Microservices Architecture : Lead the design and development of distributed, scalable microservices-based applications.
• API Development : Develop and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs for efficient data exchange and integration with other services.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure applications are highly available, scalable, and performant in production environments.
• Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Code Quality & Best Practices : Advocate for and adhere to best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, helping to grow their skills and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Agile Methodology : Participate in Agile sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to project planning and delivery.
• Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, processes, and standards.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience : 5+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices).
• Microservices & Distributed Systems : Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures.
• API Development : Expertise in building RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs. Expertise in integrating third-party libraries.
• Database Skills : Proficient in working with relational databases (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (i.e. MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
