- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with various teams, including engineering, procurement, quality and Shop, to ensure project success.
- Allocate resources efficiently and monitor project progress.
- Contract, Budget & Resource Management:
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
- Ensure efficient use of resources (man, material, and equipment).
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks and handle issues that arise during the project's lifecycle.
- Change Management:
- Manage changes in project scope, schedules, and costs. Ensure that any scope creep is handled professionally and that changes are documented properly.
- Ensure that change requests are reviewed, evaluated, and approved before implementation, maintaining control over the project’s direction
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact between customer and internal teams.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including progress, budget, and timelines.
- Ensure alignment between stakeholders' expectations and project deliverables.
- Problem Solving:
- Address challenges or obstacles that arise during project execution.
- Make adjustments to timelines, budgets, or scope as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, performance metrics, and financials for senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, specifications, drawings, and changes to project plans.
- Organize project reviews.
- Project Closure:
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement.
- Finalize documentation and ensure a smooth handover of the project to the client or relevant teams
