Job Description
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their communication, and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be working with Product Managers from across the globe and helping us in our efforts to drive Oracle APEX adoption and ensure our customers are successful. The candidate will be collaborating with Partners, Sales, pre-sales, cloud engineering, and and consulting teams to help design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle APEX low-code solutions that address customer business problems.
As a Principal Product Manager, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, partnering, and executing customer, partner, and SI engagement programs in JAPAC.

Responsibilities:
- Build strong, effective, and trusted relationships with partners and customers by providing best practice guidance, advise and enablement
- Collaborate with product developers to gather product requirements and designs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and use problem-solving skills to provide value-based solutions to stakeholders.
- Support both internal and external customers by extending guidance from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment
- Help and support existing customers to troubleshoot any issues and ensure a thorough follow-up
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; write product definitions and user stories in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Engage with internal customers and act as their advocate to influence business and technical leaders.
- Develop and manage product collateral including workshops, blogs, and videos that highlight the customer value of new features
- Develop, test and review Oracle APEX certification exam questions
- Monitor and address product queries posted in the internal and external community forums
- Facilitate Partner and Customer education including product workshops and refresher training
- Collaborate with the pre-sales teams, influence and drive Oracle APEX adoption
- Collaborate with successful customers towards producing product success stories and quotes
- Support internal teams on new sales, expansions and onboarding of customers.
- Support field, marketing, partner, customer, and community events
- Act as a subject matter expert to balance and prioritize across competing stakeholders and business requests.
- You have a complete understanding of Oracle APEX, and you have developed production systems at various scales.
- You have a full grasp of APEX functionality and also understand its gaps and deficiencies.
- You are enthusiastic about APEX and want to share it with the world!
- You have a natural ability to speak with developers, customers, and partners and help them solve their problems.
- You have an appreciation for data-first development and have a solid background in SQL and PL/SQL.
- You know the limitations of APEX and when it is appropriate to build third-party plug-ins or custom code, and when to stick within the platform.
- You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- You enjoy contributing to multiple projects simultaneously and can shift focus fast
- You can work efficiently with minimal supervision
- You have a bias for action and an itch to improve existing processes
- You have exceptional spoken and written communication skills
- You have 10 - 12 years of experience in APEX application development
- Technical background with experience in Web technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technology or MBA
