Leadership position to manage large unit of Ocean Operations for critical business.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Effectively contribute to the development and execution of the Container Trace & Track activities/process in align of Cargo Operations (SD TbM – Service Delivery– Transported by Maersk) across globe
• Managed and deliver objectives aligned to TbM (Transported by Maersk) strategic roadmap and ambitions
• Develop and deploy a comprehensive business solution via agile program management and ways of working aligned to Maersk’s integrator strategy and needs
• Co-ordinate performance management for week-to-week trace & track operations and update to mid-senior stakeholders
• Implement opportunities/changes toward process efficiency and drive continuous improvement across unit
• Represent Cargo Operational activities for various other forums such as Commercial, Finance and other support functions.
• Coach Team Leaders to help drive various initiative run agile culture and owner mindset
• Drive engagement and enhance employee experience by various organizational and unit led programs towards employee development and growth
• Leads a team of >60 team members through 2-3 team leaders
• Has accountability for functional deliverables across Globe or multiple Regions
  
  

We are looking for:

• Candidate should be a Graduate with excellent communication, good interpersonal and people skills.
• Has at least 7-9 years of relevant operations/commercial experience involving front/back-end processing (preference will be given to but not limited to shipping and logistic industry)
• Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results and outcomes
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual who can work in a challenging environment
• Probes and identifies business needs along with stakeholder across verticals and provides solutions
• Listen actively and invites dialogue for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive performance and achieve results
• Understanding and passion for shipping and logistic industry with customer centric mindset
• Understanding of EDI know-how is plus on systems like AMPSEM, SEEBURGER with industry acumen or benchmarking on container flow management
• Experience in commercial process like Dispute, DND, Vendor Management would be an advantage
• Process Improvement mindset with an inclination toward analytical thinking
