Instructional Designer (EdTech)

Job Summary: The Instructional Designer (EdTech) will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning materials for digital and blended educational programs. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear, interactive learning experiences. The designer will also collaborate with media personnel to produce visually appealing and pedagogically sound content that enhances the overall learning experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design within an EdTech or e-learning environment.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, LMS platforms, and instructional technologies.
• Strong understanding of learning theories, curriculum development, and visual design principles.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Course Design: Develop instructional materials, including storyboards, learning modules, and assessments, tailored for online and blended learning environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts to convert complex concepts into easy-to-understand, interactive learning content.
• Content Production: Coordinate with graphic designers and media editors to ensure instructional content is engaging, visually appealing, and meets learning objectives.
• Technology Integration: Utilize e-learning tools and platforms to create immersive, learner-centered experiences.
• Continuous Improvement: Revise and update instructional materials based on learner feedback and technological advancements to ensure content remains current and effective.
