[This role is responsible for preparing, maintaining bookkeeping for German Corporate companies including General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation, Vat return preparation, Checklists and month end processes]

The opportunity

[Opportunity to work in an accounting process including General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation, Vat return preparation, and month end processes. Also work on process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls and improve quality]

Your Key Responsibilities

• End to end accounting experience including month end closing, financial reporting and financial year closing process
• Examine and evaluate existing R to R processes, identifying areas for improvement
• Analyze invoices, Book invoices, Depreciation, Payroll, accruals, maintain book of accounts and payment runs
• Develop and maintain documentation for R-to-R process and procedures
• Proficient in accounting principles and Microsoft office
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication Skills
• Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Vat returns for German Corporates
• Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth closure of books, reconciliations and reporting
• Gain a thorough understanding of business processes and operations adopted by the client to identify their requirements and ensure it is met through regular updates, schedules and reports
• Ability to deliver the quality work on time
• To foster working relationships with the team and be a good team player

To qualify for the role you must have

• B.COM or M.COM or MBA with good communication skill
• End to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS)
• Good at Microsoft Office
• Basic German Knowledge
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Datev Software
