Job Summary
As a DevOps Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating deployment pipelines, improving infrastructure reliability, and collaborating with development teams to enhance the overall software delivery process. You will leverage your experience to streamline operations, implement best practices, and contribute to the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) framework.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design, implement, and manage deployment pipelines to automate software delivery and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize infrastructure and streamline processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent and scalable environment management.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation, monitoring, and management of production systems.
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, tools, and best practices for the DevOps team.
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with DevOps and Deployment in Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain systems on Kubernetes and with Helm charts.
- Experience using DevOps tools on premises and in cloud environments (e.g.: Docker, Helm Charts, Terraform, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge about Microservice architectures and concepts (e.g. Services mesh, Chaos testing).
- Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Experience with Continuous integration and deployment, Gitlab and Jenkins pipelines.
- Knowledge and experience in at least one programming and scripting language: Bash, GoLang, Python.
- Certification in AWS.
- Experience with SaaS in AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis.
- Experience with Cloud AI services.
- Experience with Cloud SQL databases.
- Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g.: Grafana, Prometheus).
- Troubleshooting experience in networking and DNS resolution.
