Role: FMCG Channel Head
This person would be leading the entire Offline charter for Active Foods business in terms
of General Trade, Modern Trade and Sugar.fit’s Offline clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
○ Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across assigned
geographies.
○ Drive sales growth in offline channels, leveraging market insights and consumer
trends.
2. Team Management and Leadership:
○ Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals.
○ Provide training and development to enhance team efficiency and performance.
3. Market Development:
○ Identify and onboard potential distributors, retailers, and partners to expand
market presence.
○ Manage and optimize channel performance to maximize reach and profitability.
4. Data-Driven Insights:
○ Analyze sales data and market trends to develop actionable insights.
○ Monitor KPIs and ensure consistent performance tracking across all channels.
5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
○ Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with brand
objectives.
○ Foster strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners.
Key Requirements:
○ 5–7 years of experience in offline sales, preferably with large FMCG players or in
new-age D2C brands
○ Mandatory experience across Food/Packaged goods specific FMCG/new age D2C
brands in offline role
○ Strong academic pedigree from a Tier 2 (or above) institution.
○ Should have worked in an offline sales role.
○ Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
○ Strong team management and interpersonal skills.○ Should have very strong super stockist, distributors and retailers connect.
○ Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
○ Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
