About the Team

Ninjacart’s eCommerce vertical works with quick commerce players and modern trade partners to help them with their fresh supply (fruits and vegetables) requirements. Given the rapid growth of quick commerce in India, this business team is helping drive Ninjacart’s growth across Metros and is scaling up rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating metrics for our quick commerce clients - fill rate, On time delivery, price competitiveness (price index) and quality (customer satisfaction)
• Set up a network of collection centres to procure quality produce at the right prices.
• Develop and maintain a vendor network for SKUs that cannot be procured from collection centres.
• Work with the operations team to ensure the availability of a reliable network of transport partners for line haul and last mile operations.
• Given the highly competitive nature of quick commerce, the business head has to hire and retain a motivated team capable of delivering on the business metrics.

• Tier 1/Tier 2 MBA with 4-7 years of experience in F/V procurement/B2B/B2C/vendor management & farm sourcing
• Experience in start-up experience preferable (1-2yrs)
• Sound understanding of the products in the category, city vendor network,category pricing, cost control
• Ability to build & manage collection centre network
• Sound understanding of Quality audit process & Vendor Management
• Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving, strong leadership & management skills
• Experience in team management
• Proficiency in Marathi/Hindi is mandatory
