We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Business Analyst

In this role, you will:

• Elicit and document business requirements and user stories, design decisions and specifications for new and ongoing projects to establish a clear understanding of the stakeholders ‘needs.
• Ensure that the traceability of business requirements is met through functional artefacts.
• Be responsible for leading a team of business analysts in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with clarity, impact, and passion to inspire audiences and create a shared understanding and commitment.
• Work in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to determine requirements and functional flows.
• Drive and lead the requirements process, follow the Agile practices, own the requirements end-to-end including user stories’ documentation, ensuring completion of review, approval and sign off requirements, support and consultation throughout the project lifecycle till handoff to production.
• Encourage best practices and apply them in the team – responsible for functional product quality.
  
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Extensive experience with banking systems with a focus on Payments Domain experience in Low Value Payments, High Value Payments, Cross Border Payments, and key regulations & associated IT impacts, affecting the Payments market, such as Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), Faster Payments, Payment Services Directive, etc.
• Experience of working on SWIFT MT, Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS
• Experience of having worked in ISO20022 implementations, Payment Processing & post processing Operations.
• Hands-on experience in Messaging Schemas, and Message formats
• Experience of having worked in Open Banking project implementation
• Extensive experience in writing Requirements gathering, analysis & documentation; and other IT BA competencies.
• Good written and oral communications - ability to create and present material according to targeted audience level.
• Strong skillsets on AGILE methodologies
• Should be able to able to play catalyst role between business and IT
• Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customer.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and manage complex projects and relationships.
• Communicate with clarity, impact and passion to inspire audiences and create a shared understanding and commitment.
• Good understanding of the financial services industry, with experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Should have a degree in a related field, and hands-on experience business analyst role.
• Require excellent project management skills, and experience of working with stakeholders across all levels.
• Highly motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, and able to take a proactive approach to problem solving.
