About The Role

The Accounting Officer will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and oversee reconciliations. You will focus on improving and automating financial processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a proactive approach to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, identifying discrepancies and improving the reconciliation process for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and update accurate accounting records, ensuring seamless daily transaction processing and financial data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the tech team to automate and enhance financial workflows, streamlining daily operations and transaction management.
• Monitor cash flow and oversee accounts payable and receivable, implementing process improvements to ensure timely and efficient financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, while identifying opportunities to improve existing systems and procedures.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
