A Day in the Life
Medtronic is expanding their footprint for Diabetes Care with a center in Pune and as the Transition Manager for Patient Financial Services, India, this role is responsible for overseeing the transition of revenue cycle operations to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance within Patient Financial Services.
The Diabetes Operating Unit focuses on improving the lives of those within the global diabetes community. As a business, we strive to empower people with diabetes to live life on their terms by delivering innovation that truly matters and providing support in the ways they need it.

As a Transition Manager for Patient Financial Service (PFS) role involves coordinating with various departments, managing project timelines, and implementing best practices to improve revenue cycle processes.
- A role involves overseeing seamless revenue cycle operations transitions, create project timelines and prioritize tasks.
- Coordinating with various departments, facilitate meetings to align strategies and address concerns.
- Analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and implement best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams, provide guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Document progress, update stakeholders, and plan for the next steps, ensuring everyone is prepared for upcoming challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree …Business or Accounting major is preferred.
- 15+ years’ experience in project management, process improvement, training and support, data analysis and reporting.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and revenue cycle management software.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with medical billing and collections terminology – CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 and NDC coding, HIPAA guidelines and healthcare compliance.
