Transition Coordinator
Paths is a full-scale, vertically integrated affordable housing developer, builder, and operator. Summary/Objective
The Transitions Coordinator is responsible for assisting with acquisitions of new affordable housing projects into the Paths portfolio. This role involves managing the project lifecycle, including coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing all department’s needs. The Transitions Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Transitions to ensure newly acquired affordable housing projects meet the needs of stakeholders and comply with local, state, and federal requirements.

This role involves managing the project lifecycle, including coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing all department’s needs. The Transitions Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Transitions to ensure newly acquired affordable housing projects meet the needs of stakeholders and comply with local, state, and federal requirements.

Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of affordable housing projects into the management portfolio, ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance.
- Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate project needs between internal teams, external contacts and other stakeholders.
- Assist with meetings with stakeholders to address concerns, needs and incorporate feedback into project plans.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure that team members are aligned with project goals. Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timelines are met and that issues are identified early.
- Maintain accurate records of all project activities, documentation, schedules, communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Director of Transitions.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete and stored in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience in project management or affordable housing management.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects from start to finish.
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of affordable housing regulations, funding sources, and compliance requirements, preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts or issues that arise.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel: Occasional local or regional travel required.
