What You’ll Be Doing...

The work you'll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. You will work on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.

• Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front end and backend technologies keeping security in mind.
• Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
• Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
• Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
• Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Rapidly iterate on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements and producing good quality code
• Be a subject matter expert by identifying technology trends and platforms (including web and mobile apps) and collaborate with other team members to make recommendations based on the company’s needs
• Be involved in all stages of development, from product ideation through architecture and execution
• Help evolve the software development methodology based on agile and lean thinking, including impacting the development of coding conventions, documentation standards, testing procedures and quality assurance
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
• Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence
• Interface with Architects to understand the design skeleton

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What We’re Looking For...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or th or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of development experience in building and deploying web and mobile-based product, software design and development in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
• Three or more Year of experience in building Web Application using Java
• Three or more years of experience creating REST Services preferably using Spring Boot and Spring React
• Experience working with Non SQL Database – Redis
• Three or more years of experience in building/deploying applications using Git, Maven & Jenkins.
  
  

Even Better If You Have

• Strong Knowledge in Design patterns& Building Micro Services
• Knowledge of cloud environment like Adobe Cloud, AWS, or other.
• Expertise in responsive web design, and cross-browsers compatibility and DevOps environment and working with CI/CD methodologies
• Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Kanban, TDD or Scrum
• Familiarity working with project tracking systems, such as Jira, a GIT repository and continuous integration environments
• Exceptionally self-motivated, solid interpersonal skills and a good communicator
• Extremely detailed oriented, committed to excellence and takes unrelenting pride in the code you write
• Excellent problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges
• Strong analytical, debugging skills.
