About The Role

The Uber Eats Delivery Search team enables best-in-class search experience for our customers. We help customers find exactly what they are looking for - store , dish or grocery items. The Search Backend team powers the end-to-end Search workflows.

• You have knowledge of a backend stack (some examples include: GoLang, Java, Node.js, Python, Redis, Kafka, Golang or similar).

---- Basic Qualifications ----

• BE/BS in Computer science or equivalent
• Experience coding using general purpose programming language (eg. GoLang, Java, Python, C#, C/C++)
  
  

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

• Prior Search Technology experience.
• Experience on GoLang, Java
• Experience working on large scale distributed systems.
• You have successfully developed and launched multiple products to production and have been around to stabilize the issues that only get revealed at scale in production.
