Job Summary
Ultrafly Solutions is seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with 5+ years of expertise in data engineering, Snowflake architecture, and ETL development. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and optimize data solutions on the Snowflake platform, contributing to scalable and efficient data workflows for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Snowflake Development:
- Design and develop scalable solutions using Snowflake's advanced features (e.g., Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Data Sharing).
- Build and optimize Snowflake environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Implement robust data warehousing solutions based on business requirements.
- ETL and Data Integration:
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from various sources into Snowflake.
- Work with tools like Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or similar for data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flows and integration with downstream systems.
- Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake queries and workloads to ensure efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data partitioning, caching, and clustering in Snowflake.
- Collaboration Documentation:
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned with business goals.
- Prepare technical documentation for solutions, workflows, and processes.
- Data Governance:
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards.
- Implement role-based access controls and audit mechanisms in Snowflake.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering and Snowflake development.
- Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing solutions on the Snowflake platform.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific SQL constructs.
- Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for data workflows.
- Additional Skills:
- Experience with data modeling and warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of BI/Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
