Handling end-to-end procurement activity of mechanical items.
- Responsible for the RFQ process for Mechanical items
- Responsible for commercial negotiations and contracting with suppliers
- Effective reporting of the status of procurement activities of relevant categories for a project to enable the identification of delays and potential root causes
- Provide support to the project in terms of any interventions required while administering supply contracts for relevant categories
- Conduct regular procurement reviews in order to meet the Project schedule.
- Developing long-term partnerships with local & foreign suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting service, cost, delivery, and quality norms.
- Consistently evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material/execution of job works
- Expediting with the vendor for meeting delivery schedule
