Sales Manager Batteries

As part of our continued growth, Borregaard is looking for a sales manager to join our team in India and help drive sales for our batteries and Biovanillin business.
Responsibilities
The main areas of responsibility include:
- Sales of Borregaard’ s products to lead acid battery business and explore and develop commercial opportunities in emerging battery technologies (e.g. Li-ion).
- Manager distributors of vanillin business both in India & Sri Lanka.
- Business development of various Borregaard products in industrial cleaners, coatings, resins & adhesives, personal care & home care.
- Build a strong network of industry-leading customers and contacts.
- Be an active part of the industry by participating in industry associations, trade shows, and conferences.
- Work with our global sales, marketing, and technical team to develop new products and markets.
- Prepare and execute a business plan with performance milestones.
- Provide technical and marketing support to customers and business partners.
- Timely submit business reports, CRM reports, budgets & forecasts
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree within chemistry or chemical engineering
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in relevant industry.
- Technical and professional knowledge of batteries or similar industrial products.
- Fluency in English, oral and written.

- Collaborative communication skills to be applied in teams in a cross-cultural international organization
- Self-driven with the ability to follow overall agreed objectives
- Team player
Extensive travel is expected in this role.
