Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate Payment Plans: Collaborate with debtors to establish feasible repayment plans beneficial to both parties.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately document all debtor interactions and update account statuses in the system for effective tracking.
  • Resolve Disputes: Investigate and address disputes or complaints regarding debts, ensuring clarity and accurate resolution.
  • Educate Clients: Clearly explain debt obligations and the implications of non-payment in a respectful manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with team members and departments to optimize collection strategies and enhance performance.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow all legal and ethical standards in debt collection practices.
  • Meet Targets: Achieve or exceed individual and team collection goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience: Prior experience in collections, customer service, or sales is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Effective problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.
