About The Role
The offline team is trying to achieve PhonePe’s goal by onboarding every merchant across the country to accept PhonePe. We at the Sales capability team are building a sales training engine which will enable the sales team to do their job effectively.
What will you do?
As a Sales capability manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the team of regional sales capability managers, training needs analysis, quality reviews, leadership induction and tracking and giving visibility of various training interventions done by the training team.
You will lead, provide direction, help people grow and guide the day-to-day operations of yourassigned sales training team
Assess capability gaps, devise strategy and programs/curriculums to bridge the gaps/needs identified
Hold individual review meetings and weekly team meetings
Partner with different sales teams to design & optimise curriculum, training programmes to deliver high impact training sessions
Help the sales team to achieve their goals by delivering on your team’s monthly objectives.
Review impact of all programs delivered. Time to time customisations to meet business and organisation needs.
Help the team with all the resources they need to do their job effectively
Work closely with internal support teams or external vendors to solve for any training related requirements
Keep evolving with the new and innovative training methods
What you should have?
Ability to inspire a large team and lead them in a unified direction towards a common vision
Demonstrate a positive attitude and should be passionate to train. Willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done
Data-driven: Keen interest in evaluating product/market/vertical situations, analysing raw data, and transforming it into actionable training strategies.
Liaise with all teams to create and implement strategies, structure, budget, and vision
At least 5 - 7 years relevant work experience and spent 2-3 year managing large training teams
