Overview

As a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician at IPL Biologicals, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems in our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and control systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning and efficiency of equipment
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to quickly resolve any system malfunctions or breakdowns
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure that all refrigeration and HVAC systems are in quality standards
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, as well as inventory of spare parts and tools
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed trade or technical school program in Refrigeration/HVAC systems
• 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance and repair
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, controls, and troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
