Amazon Prime is the world’s most recognized membership program and is a critical storefront contributing to the overall Amazon business. The Prime Core Services team has been engaged in evolving technology platforms of these programs for geographic expansion as well as building new core infrastructure services for new program launches. The team has a great set of complex unsolved technical & business problems on the roadmap. The solution for these need to be designed & developed considering use cases across various membership programs in Amazon and not limited to only Prime programs.

We are looking for a high caliber Quality Assurance Engineer, with a strong passion for testing, and deep technical problem solving skills, to join the Prime Core Services QA team.

As a Sr. QAE, you will be responsible for understanding complex distributed systems and developing functional test plans, working with WW stakeholders. You should continuously raise the bar for QA practices such as CI/CD efficiency, establishing and documenting procedures. As a senior member of the team, you will be required to mentor and coach other team members. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and ability to hit the ground running.

You will work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. You will develop automated tests to help fasten testing cycles and release faster to our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• 4+ years of delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QAE role
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge on testing frameworks and automation experience.
• Proficient in creating status reports for effective stakeholder management.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
• Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results.
