Job Overview

We are seeking a Qualified Internal Auditor specializing in Food Safety to join our Vadodara team. This mid-level, full-time role requires 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will ensure our stringent food safety standards are upheld, focusing on compliance and continuous improvement within our dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications And Skills

• Qualified Internal Auditor - FSSC 22000 V5-1 and above
• Proven expertise in food safety regulations (Mandatory skill), with the ability to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Strong background in quality assurance (Mandatory skill), fostering consistent product quality through effective auditing processes.
• Comprehensive auditing skills (Mandatory skill), capable of executing detailed audits that enhance company procedures.
• Experienced team leader with the capability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving food safety goals.
• Proficient in risk assessment, adept at identifying potential issues and formulating preventive strategies.
• Skilled in training and development, aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement in food safety practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address and rectify food safety challenges efficiently.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits focused on food safety and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain product excellence and safety.
• Lead a team to perform risk assessments and develop proactive measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Provide training and development to staff on best practices and regulatory requirements in food safety.
• Investigate any food safety incidents, determine root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to food safety and quality.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings with management to drive decision-making.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant practices into the company's food safety protocols.
