The Role
As a Project Control Specialist with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Develop WBS for scheduling and reporting requirements.
- Development and preparation of Project schedule in primavera, ensuring alignment with project
- Effectively engage in schedule discussions with internal and client stakeholders.
- Work closely with PCM and Project leadership members in meeting planning & scheduling functional
- Prepare look ahead schedules, Overdue activities/deliverables, and schedule status reports as per the
- Update and review the project schedule critical paths, activity status and milestones as per the agreed
- Proactive discussions on slippages, forecast and potential delays and alert senior management in time
- Set up project in Ecosys budget module and deliverable module, forecast update monthly in
- Develop and track project progress, implementing effective monitoring systems to ensure adherence
- Preparation of weekly progress report, weekly budget report, monthly progress report and Worley
- WPR’s. Present detailed reports and analyses on project advancements, highlighting achievements,
- Preparation of project cost reports and provide forecast analysis and trends of the project.
- Prepare and analyse performance metrics based on Earned value methods and proactively drive in
- Extraction of reports/statistics from system and tools for the necessary analysis on project metrics.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaborative relationships, and ensuring
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering graduate
- 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas, energy sector & Chemicals
- Exposure in working with EPCM, DE, FEED projects.
- Knowledge and exposure to Construction requirements of Process plants/Refineries preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Planning, Scheduling and Reporting
- Good understanding on Project cost reporting, Earned value concepts.
- A dedication to client satisfaction
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- You will be an enthusiastic team player, with excellent stakeholder management skills
