Procurement Analyst

Our client is one of a leading supplier of truck parts and cargo control equipment, is seeking a Purchasing and Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Purchasing and Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, analyzing pricing data, and developing pricing strategies to ensure that our products remain competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve pricing and delivery times.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, price points, and opportunities in the industry.
• Develop pricing models and strategies to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
• Collaborate with product development and sales teams to identify new product opportunities and ensure pricing strategies align with market demand.
• Maintain accurate records of pricing, suppliers, and purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
• Communicate pricing strategies and updates to the sales team and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or Master’s degree in business, economics, Technology or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in international products purchasing
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and analysis.
• Excellent Excel skills or other analytical tools to analyze large data sets
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
