Job Summary:
As a Pricing Specialist, you will support and execute elements of the Price to Order process, ensuring accurate and efficient pricing operations. You will act as an expert in the use of Price Navigator, provide first-line support for pricing issues, and participate in project execution and process monitoring. Reporting directly to the Global Process Owner, you will play a key role in maintaining pricing accuracy and process adherence across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert in the use of Price Navigator, providing support and training to sales, sales support, marketing, and other users of the pricing tool.
- Ensure the effective use of pricing tools and systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Act as the first point of contact for pricing issues, ensuring timely resolution. Work with sales support, sales, customer service, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze pricing issues to determine if they are due to a lack of process adherence or if they require process changes.
- Follow exception processes for pricing issues impacting orders, collaborating with customer service and sales support.
- Participate in the execution of projects related to the Price to Order process, such as the implementation of price hierarchy changes and business readiness for new pricing tools.
- Support project activities and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitor price performance metrics, including Zero Price Orders, and track process adherence.
- Measure and report on process anomalies, such as the frequency of exception processes or ad hoc price changes.
- Use tools such as Celonis to track and report on process adherence.
- Provide training and support to sales teams and other stakeholders on pricing policies, procedures, and systems.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive training materials and documentation.
- Track compliance with pricing policies and internal audit requirements.
- Support the Business Process Owner in maintaining process documentation and monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pricing, sales support, or a related role.
- Knowledge of pricing processes, systems, and tools (e.g., SAP, CRM, Price Navigator).
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills with global colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of compliance and governance requirements related to pricing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Influence: Ability to work with peers and superiors to align and contribute to the common goal.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve pricing issues quickly and efficiently.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in the use of pricing tools and systems, with the ability to provide support and training to other users.
