Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and web services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
- Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
- Debug and resolve application issues and production bugs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement them as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on Node. js.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern development practices.
- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of WebSocket, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.
