Job Summary

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operations and logistics functions to ensure efficient storage, distribution, and transportation of goods. This role involves managing warehouse staff, coordinating logistics activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimizing operational processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse and logistics management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient transportation of goods and timely deliveries.
• Manage and lead warehouse staff, providing training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse and logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage warehouse and logistics budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse and logistics performance to senior management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, Marathi & Hindi.
• Should have a good contact of local vendors to support warehouse and logistics operations.

• Extensive experience in managing warehouse operations and logistics functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams, including warehouse staff and logistics coordinators.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
