Key Responsibilities

Administrative and Operational Support:

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, prioritize appointments, schedule meetings, and arrange travel.
  • Anticipate the CEO's needs and proactively prepare information, reports, and presentations.
  • Draft correspondence, emails, and documents for the CEO.
  • Manage incoming emails, calls, inquiries, and requests, filtering and prioritizing them for the CEO's attention.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role.

Public Relations

  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the organization's brand reputation and public image through Social Media and Events.
  • Pitch stories to journalists, and media outlets and create posts for various Social Media accounts including Linked In, Twitter, etc.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media sentiment, identifying key trends and opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage public events and speaking engagements for the CEO and his ELT Team.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in public relations.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. An e-commerce experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate complex situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling software, as well as public relations management software and social media platforms.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing needs.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience and understanding of public relations principles and best practices, including media relations, crisis communication, and social media management.
  • Ability to write persuasively and concisely for diverse audiences.
  • Passion for storytelling and building relationships with the media and the public.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to achieve public relations goals.

  • Team Leadership and Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team, ensuring they are motivated, aligned with organizational goals, and performing at their best.
  • Communication and Presentation: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear and compelling presentations and documents.
  • Technology and E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with e-commerce technology, platforms, and tools that are relevant to your specific industry, such as online retail, payment gateways, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to oversee multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
