Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Buyer to join our team located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a full-time position that requires an individual with extensive experience in vendor selection, last-mile delivery, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards with proven experience in procurement and contracting within the transportation industry. Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

• Extensive experience in vendor selection (Mandatory skill) with strong analytical skills to assess vendors' capabilities and reliability.
• Proven expertise in managing last-mile delivery (Mandatory skill) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
• Skilled in contract negotiation with the ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Proficient in route optimization techniques to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Experience in performance monitoring to track and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of vendors and delivery processes.
• Strong vendor management skills to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and conditions while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Implement route optimization strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon standards and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align logistics operations with overall business objectives and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to logistics and supply chain activities.
• Manage last-mile delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
