Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies aligned with overall business objectives and SEO goals.
- Content Editing & Review: Oversee the review and editing of content to ensure it meets SEO standards, brand voice, and quality guidelines.
- Collaboration with SEO Team: Work closely with the SEO team to ensure content aligns with SEO objectives, driving organic search traffic and keyword performance.
- Outsourced Content Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring timely delivery of content that meets company standards.
- Content Optimization: Identify content gaps and opportunities for new content creation to support organic growth strategies, such as enhancing website performance, increasing user engagement, and driving on-page conversions.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics tools to track content performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the design, product, and sales teams to ensure content supports brand messaging, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
- Brand Voice and Tone: Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels, maintaining a clear and engaging tone that resonates with our audience.
- Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, SEO, and digital marketing to keep our content strategies relevant and effective.
- Increase in organic search traffic and keyword rankings.
- Improvement in on-page conversion rates.
- Growth in brand awareness and engagement metrics.
- Efficiency and quality of outsourced content production.
- Proven experience as a Content Editor, Content Strategist, or similar role (7+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
- Experience working with outsourced content creators, including briefing, reviewing, and managing workflows.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Previous experience in writing/editing for SaaS or B2B companies is preferred.
