Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead of the Back Sales Office to lead our back-end sales operations. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in sales operations, administration, or customer support, with a proven track record of optimizing processes, managing teams, and driving operational excellence. The Chief of the Back Sales Office will play a critical role in streamlining sales processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all back-end sales operations, including order processing, invoicing, inventory management, and customer support.
  • Develop and implement sales support policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and logistics, to align back-end operations with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all back-end sales activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and issues, resolving conflicts and ensuring timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, accomplishments, and challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, or related field; MBA with sales & operations experience will be preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales operations, administration, or customer support, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of optimizing sales processes, improving efficiency, and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and deliver results.
  • Excellent business development acumen from prospective leads to sales generation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive business performance.
  • Proficiency in Google Automation, CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales support tools, understanding of autocad tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Open to travel & represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services and build brand awareness.
  • Experience in a network of architects, consultants, and industrial bodies is preferred.
  • Access to networks and knowledge of Green buildings, IGBC, GRIHA, NBCC, ECSBC is preferred.

Salary Range

  • For the Lead of Back Sales Office position with 5-8 years of experience in India, the salary range might typically fall between INR 6,00,000 to INR 10,00,000 per annum, depending on factors such as location, level of experience, and specific skills possessed by the candidate
  • Additional benefits such as performance bonuses, healthcare coverage, and retirement plans may also be included in the compensation package.
