We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and further development of our Cloud-based SAAS Web Applications. In this role, you will be responsible for writing code in the form of RESTful APIs, implementing scheduled tasks that interact with our RDBMS and NOSQL data stores, designing data analytics pipelines, and creating performant web interfaces.
As a Python Developer, you should be passionate about solving complex problems related to scale and performance. You should also have a solid understanding of building successful web applications and a strong desire to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in web application development and analytics.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in requirement gathering and analysis activities
Create comprehensive documentation for the features you develop
Develop new features and functionalities for our Web Applications
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Web Applications
Solve scalability and performance-related challenges
Utilize Python for analytics, machine learning, and usability problem-solving
Required Skills
Proficiency in working with one or more services of the AWS Cloud
Experience with AWS Lambda using Python
Strong programming skills in Python, including familiarity with web frameworks, database interactions, and authentication/authorization techniques
Knowledge of at least one RDBMS (SQL Server preferred)
Familiarity with NOSQL databases is an added benefit
Solid understanding and practical knowledge of building RESTful APIs
Ability to optimize and fine-tune the performance of web applications
