Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jr. Operator to join our Printing department. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The Jr. Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality prints, and assisting senior operators in day-to-day tasks. The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing equipment, including printers, presses, and bindery machines.
• Set up and adjust printing machines according to job specifications.
• Monitor printing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process.
• Assist senior operators in the preparation and execution of printing jobs.
• Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a printing department.
• Strong knowledge of printing equipment and processes.
• Proficient in operating printing software and computer-controlled machinery.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
