Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in SQL to join our team. If you are passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend systems, we'd love to hear from you!
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Java Development: Solid experience in backend development with Java, ideally with frameworks like Spring Boot or Spring MVC.
- SQL Expertise: Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and extensive experience writing complex SQL queries, performing data modeling, and query optimization.
- Database Design: Experience designing normalized database schemas, creating indexes, and optimizing database performance.
- API Development: Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, including authentication, versioning, and integration best practices.
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Design and Develop Backend Services: Develop robust, scalable, and efficient backend applications using Java (preferably with Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
- Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize SQL databases and write complex SQL queries. Work closely with the database team to ensure data integrity, scalability, and high availability.
- API Development: Build RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end services, ensuring smooth and efficient data exchange between the backend and client-side applications.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance of backend services and database queries to ensure low-latency and high-availability solutions.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Security: Implement best practices for securing application data, ensuring proper encryption and data access control mechanisms.
