Role And Responsibilities

• Lead the Long haul department end-to-end including demand generation, supply of vehicles and operations. This will be a P&L responsibility.
• Manage the team involved in Long-haul operations.
• Identifying and building relations with customers who require inter-city transportation in temperature-controlled vehicles.
• Understanding client requirements and planning vehicles' placement
• Develop and nurture relationships with fleet owners to ensure supply of vehicles
• Planning return loads, optimizing vehicle utilization and deciding freight for various lanes.
  
  

Required Skills/experience

• Min 3-5 years of experience managing logistics and supply chain
• High energy and ownership
• Excellent people management skills
• A strong balance of planning and hustling
• Should be able to roll up their sleeves to get the job done when required
