As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure solutions on Cloud Platforms like Azure and Google. Your role involves working closely with architects and cross-functional teams to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of IaaS components.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

• Infrastructure Implementation:
• Deploy and configure infrastructure components on Cloud, focusing on services IaaS (VMs) and PaaS Services
• Collaborate with architects to translate design specifications into tangible and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Automation and Scripting:
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Cloud SDKs, Terraform, or Deployment Manager to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and repeatability in deployments.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to track the performance of IaaS resources.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and implement improvements to enhance resource efficiency.
• Security Implementation:
• Work with the security team to implement and enforce security best practices for Cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and actively participate in security assessments and remediation efforts.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to support the integration of infrastructure components.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to IaaS services.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
• Asset Management (Desirable)
• Work with Global Asset Management teams and help define new Asset Class, Categories and attributes required for the same.
• Closely work with developers and architects towards automation of creation, maintenance, and audit of Asset / Configuration management records.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Azure and Google.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with automation tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
• Understanding of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Cloud networking concepts and experience working with them.
