Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in HVAC design
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture
- Experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Design and develop HVAC systems according to client requirements and specifications
- Conduct load calculations and energy analysis to optimize system performance
- Create detailed HVAC designs, including equipment selection, duct sizing, and piping layouts
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success
- Perform site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to design standards and regulations
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues as they arise
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology
