Position: Head of Compact Substation Business
Overview: Lead the Compact Substation (CSS) business, overseeing Proposals, Business Development, Order Management, Quality, and Operations. This role is pivotal in driving profitable growth in the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual business plans and strategies for the CSS division.
Ensure timely submission of proposals and support sales in closing techno-commercial deals.
Maintain high-level CRM with key customers, including CXO interactions.
Drive business development activities to enhance market penetration and growth.
Formulate product strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.
Oversee complete order execution, from engineering to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Set and monitor quality objectives for the department.
Address and resolve techno-commercial issues with customers and internal stakeholders.
Mentor and manage a team of 15+ members.
Analyze data points to develop short, medium, and long-term strategies for the portfolio.
Eligibility:
Proven business management skills with extensive technical and commercial knowledge in Distribution Transformers, Low and Medium Voltage domains.
Experience in leading functions such as Prescription, R&D - PLM, Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations, including QMS within the Switchgear industry.
Demonstrated ability to improve process efficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize operational costs and profitability in both domestic and international markets.
Adaptability to a continuously changing environment and collective decision-making skills.
Technical Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of MV and LV Switchgears, Switchboards, and Schemes, along with Distribution Transformer expertise.
Educational Background and Experience:
B.E. (Electrical) and MBA in Marketing/Finance.
18-20 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in English with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
