Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, including reservations and payments.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with room assignments and key cards.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Manage and coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
- Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
- Stay informed about hotel events, promotions, and special offers.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of guest information.
- Be aware of and adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Polite and professional demeanor with a strong sense of hospitality.
- Proficiency in computer applications and hotel management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest issues calmly.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
