At Ralph Lauren, the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for forecasting, long range financial planning, operating and financial reporting and analysis for all levels of the organization. We’re trusted business partners that provide recommendations and analysis to help drive sound business decisions.

As a Finance Operations Analyst the candidate will be a part of the Bangalore India division, the candidate will play a key role in helping our business grow while supporting the Advertising & Digital Agency teams.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations Analyst:

• Support the Advertising project management tool & related activities
• Upload project budgets and review approvals
• Manage Monday.com mailbox support
• Monitor IDOC error reports and resolve issues in partnership with IT and Business partners
• Sending bi-weekly reporting to Agency partners
• Aid in month-end close activities: cost center reviews, balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the Digital Agency Teams with invoice coding and PO reconciliation
• Review and code Ariba invoices on behalf of the US Digital Team
• Manage and maintain QuickBase invoice tracker
• Reconcile invoice discrepancies including partnering with vendor as needed
• Respond to vendor inquiries
  
  

Professional Skills

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance/ Accounting/ Business
• 3 to 5+ years of combined Accounting, Controlling, Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• SAP experience preferred
• Detail orientated
• Analytical; strategic thinker
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Well organized with the ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; flexibility to reprioritize based on deadlines and priorities
• Self-motivated / self-starter; works independently to identify and / or resolve issues
• Team player possessing a strong work ethic; able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must demonstrate appropriate level of judgment, discretion, confidentiality and professional courtesy
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Work timing will start from 1 pm India time with an expected stretch during close/FC/Budget/LRP weeks.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Ariba and SAP is a plus.
• Experience with Navigating, Data retrieval, Consolidating data from general ledger/data warehouse tools in a prescribed format.
