Job Description

The Technology, Product, and Analytics Executive Search Lead for India will support Managing Director (MD) level hiring across Technology, Product, and Analytics groups within India.

Job Summary

As the Vice President – Executive Search Lead within recruiting you will be dealing with Clients will include the engineering, product, and data & analytics leaders in the region across all LOBs and Corporate, as well as global CIOs, Chief Product Officers, and Chief Data & Analytics Officers on assignments in the India region. The role will focus on hiring MD level talent from the external market to deliver the next generation of technology, product, and analytics leaders at the firm, as well as acting as trusted advisors to the Global Technology in providing diversified solutions for talent acquisition and succession planning. The Executive Search Lead will also provide regular comprehensive overviews of the market to clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research and map the market of competitors within top-tier technology industries to identify prospective candidates and create pipelines of software engineering, product, cloud, artificial intelligence/machine learning senior level talent, within India.
  • Build relationships with clients through the introduction of talent and delivery of research assignments such as organizational mapping.
  • Establish a network of world-class CTOs, Engineering, Data Science, and Product Management leaders within India to leverage, from industries including technology companies.
  • From conducted research, be able to provide meaningful market data and analysis of “best in class” in their respected field.
  • Maintain constant communication with candidates and hiring managers in order to keep momentum through the lifecycle of the search.
  • Drive hiring through opportunistic candidate introductions into previously unknown roles.
  • Act as the primary source of knowledge on technology trends impacting the financial services sector: tracking and sharing with clients on industry developments and their related impact on talent.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to the Technology leaders in providing diversified solutions for talent acquisition and succession planning.
  • Provide regular comprehensive overviews of the external market to each client.
  • Collaborate effectively within a matrix organization, working closely with regional HR leadership in India to align executive search strategies with broader organizational goals and ensure seamless integration of talent acquisition efforts across LOBs and regions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Experience managing end-to-end executive search engagements, including:
    • Search intake and advising clients on search strategy
    • Successful delivery of research, candidate identification, and development
    • Advising and making recommendations on offer proposals, including ones involving complex compensation structures (equity-based and deferred compensation schemes)
  • A proven track record in placing C-level executives with experience in:
    • Digital Products / Digital User Experience
    • Data Science / Advanced Analytics including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
    • Cloud / DevOps / Engineering
    • Consumer / Corporate Payments
  • Experience at recruiting at this level within India.
  • Experience developing talent networks in technology and engineering fields across industries.
  • Extensive experience within the Indian market, with a deep understanding of local talent pools and industry trends.
  • Executive presence with credibility, gravitas, and ability to build trust-based relationships quickly.
  • Knowledge of executive compensation structures across industries.
  • Successful track record of managing offers with complex compensation structures and relocation packages.
  • Proven ability in hiring opportunistic candidates into previously unknown roles – based on strong influencing skills and a full understanding of the strategy and direction of the company.
  • Experience delivering research assignments such as organizational mappings to senior clients.
  • BA / BS degree with 8+ years in executive search experience.
