The Role

As an Electrical Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • Execution of Electrical design, drafting and 3D modelling tasks relating to oil & gas onshore projects.
  • The ability to work within a team environment with a minimum of supervision and to both Company and Industry standards.
  • The proven ability to oversee the preparation of design and detail drawings from sketches, plans or other design / specification data
  • Have the experience to participate in design review with various clients and to advise on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate.
  • Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of completing a given work scope within time and budget constraints.
  • Responsible for the coordination of all electrical drawings.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality system relevant to the BU, etc.
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Over all 8+ years experience in the design and drafting of onshore oil and gas facilities.
  • Experience in 3D Modelling of all Electrical Equipment, Cable tray and supports, Lighting fixtures, extraction of drawings from 3D Model and preparing Electrical deliverables.
  • Familiarization in S3D/E3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation is required.
  • A Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Design / Drafting; with a preference for an Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • Required Education : A recognized degree / Diploma in E.E.E or equivalent.
