Ensuring that workplaces, products, and processes comply with safety regulations and standards to minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, or environmental harm.
Identifying potential hazards and assessing risks in various work environments or processes.
Conducting regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Developing and delivering safety training programs for employees to increase awareness of safety protocols and procedures.
Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
Investigating accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine their root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Recommending and overseeing the use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize the risk of injuriesand accidents.
