Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).
The Role
Associate Directors in the Product team at Razorpay lead a large product area with company-wide impact and are responsible for end-to-end Product Management for the same. This will involve leading a team as well as operating an area independently. In this specific role, you would be responsible for identifying problems, prioritizing ideas and solving them through product - right from problem discovery to conceptualization to launch for our Checkout offering (Demo here).
Razorpay Checkout launched 7 years back has been one of our 10x differentiators across our Payments offering. Built on the principles of B2B2C with Northstar to reduce abandoned cart and to improve conversions in the checkout journey, this has helped merchants across SME, Enterprises and freelancers increase their net revenue. This suite touches 100m+ end consumers annually and we are looking to build further on this stack to keep this as our 10x differentiator Some of the recent innovations on this product were showcased in the keynote of our annual conference Razorpay FTX. This role is to build and scale this large differentiator for the org.
Come on board, build foundational building blocks for SMEs and freelancers and shape India’s digital payments future. Should be comfortable in a fuzzy environment and operate independently as an entrepreneur within Razorpay. You should be comfortable in owning business and goals end-2-end and in collaborating with various functions and teams across Business, Engineering & Design. - You are entrepreneurial and have hunger and impatience to see things through
- You understand technology, and love customer-first & business-first thinking
- You are curious about metrics, execution processes, macro trends
- You have an analytical and data-driven approach in day-to-day work. Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Past experience as a founder would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in leading PM teams would be an advantage
- Prior experience in building consumer products would be an advantage
