Skills

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team, supporting various data science initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data science methodologies and be eager to apply their skills to solve real-world business problems. This role involves working closely with senior team members to develop and implement machine learning models, analyze data, and contribute to AI-driven insights. Reporting to Senior Manager, Data Science. You will be responsible for:

• Support the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms, with a focus on generative AI.
• Assist in conducting research and development in areas such as generative AI, predictive analytics, and other emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate AI/ML technologies into Zscaler's solutions.
• Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis to extract actionable insights.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A passion for learning and developing new skills in data science and AI/ML technologies.
  
  
  

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 0-2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role.
• Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus. Understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and statistical analysis.
