The Software Engineer Senior – Developer Experience role within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is responsible for working on key initiatives that impact the entire CTO organization. This role involves contribution and support towards organization wide initiatives and helping streamlines the processes, while bringing out efficiencies. Software Engineer Senior role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and champion the integration of platform and AI solutions across the organization.

What You’ll Own

• Specialist on Data Analysis who can streamline data collection and analysis methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines
• Maintaining data systems and dashboard to report and monitor org wide performance metrics
• Interpreting data trends & patterns, preparing reports for organizational leadership to use in a business setting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into actionable visualizations.
• Instill best practices and data analytics techniques to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Optimize the performance and efficiency of Power BI dashboards.
• Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective dashboard utilization.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and business intelligence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau and Power BI, providing technical support to end users.
• Document technical specifications, design decisions, and data governance processes related to Data analysis and Power BI.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of strong expertise to gather, view, analyze and report data
• Skilled at data visualization and modelling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Data pipeline, UI/UX
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Collaborative mindset, along with ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
• Ability to effectively organize and contribute to multiple organizational initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same.
• Open to learning new technologies.
• Ability and flexibility to align with organizational priorities.
